I have to congratulate you with the information you gathered. The information seems right. Specialy, because I had very bad acne, so i stop by using soap. I dont wash my face with soap, but i use makeup remover than, i rinse my face with very cold water and it helps me alot. I also stop using my cream(it was for oily skin)but it would make me break out more. Know I use one that is for dry skin and all i use is just enought to get on my face and it helps great. So yes if you have acne start by fist trying diferent things that you usually use and if that does not work go visit a thermatologist.
